Travel,allow me this privilege, Is what most Filipino Families look forward to do with their weekends. Staycation is no longer a desirable event. After being locked-down and travel banned for more than a year, each and every Filipino Family craves to go out and enjoy the surroundings, visit the province or go to the beach. Recently, after the IATF declared Children ages above 5 years old are already permitted to go out (as long as its Outdoors, Al Fresco), I brought my family to enjoy Eating at a restaurant (NOT Take-Out, Grabfood), And it was a delight to see the excitement in their eyes knowing that were going out. The dressing -up; wearing GO-clothes once again, surprisingly seeing the kids how big they've grown. But Deep inside, my mind was racing. I was nervous and a bit cautious. The virus is still out there. Finally, We started our expedition inside the car, we started discussing what are our recent cravings and food that we miss. First,We visited the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice, in the University of the Philippines campus. Hoping to taste Authentic ,clean, Hot, straight-off-the-grill Street Food (Mang Larry's & the like). Unfortunately, it was declared Closed due to it doesn't promote Social Distancing. After a bit more merry-go-round kind of site-seeing. We ended up in U.P. Techno HUB. Much to our Surprise, U.P. Ayala Techno Hub has limited visitors and free from Rush of visitors. Eventually, I relaxed, and totally enjoyed the afternoon with my family and their company.

Going to the US, Canada and the like..., mostly involving International Flights. Bear in Mind, The virus is still out there and it is mutating; from severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) . It started from Alpha variant which instituted and witnessed in U.K.Now, we are experiencing the new & more deadly Delta variant. Tips before you plan your travel abroad and before you purchase Plane Tickets: 1. Make sure you and your family are fully vaccinated with the latest vaccine available, Allow your body to build immunity. 2. Research on the country you are visiting, what Vaccines taken are acceptable in their country, You may have to update your passports, respectively. 3 (most Important). Acquire Travel Insurance with COVID coverage. You don't want to spoil your well-deserved vacation inside the hospital. and protect yourself from travel inconvenience. Airline & Tourism industry suffered also during the pandemic, They are not in Tip-Top shape in catering to their customers. 4. Be vigilant in exposing yourself in Big groups. 5. As Tourists, Respect safety protocols set by the Authority(IATF equivalent) in that country.
